Our Queens Guard cages are easy to use and have a variety of uses from the easy capturing of Bees, Introducing the Queen or for Building a Queens Bank.
They can be used for Packaging and Mailing Queen bees as the useful design allows the cages to be easily stacked and secured in a block.
The cage has two compartments – one is for placing a water-saturated sponge to supply bees with drinking water and maintain humidity and the other is designed to be filled with candy.
The no fuss Queen cages are made from sturdy plastic and are supplied in a 3 part kit for self-assembly.
Mainly used by Queen Breeders they are also a useful compliment to the hobbyist beekeepers kit where the rearing of Queen bees in their own apiary is of interest.
