Security Advise for the wearer:

NB: For your overall protection please adhere to the following advise when wearing a B J Sherriff garment.

The wearer should ensure that all zip fasteners and openings are securely closed & fastened when wearing one of our beekeeping garments.

Our beekeepers apparel is designed to be worn as work wear and should be worn over adequate clothing and not directly on bare skin.

The garment should be worn in conjunction with specially designed beekeepers gloves with gauntlets and suitable foot wear ie Wellingtons to offer good protection. The veil and hood should be checked for wear and tear before working with bees/wasps and other insects.

Care should be taken with sharp objects such as Hive tool along with Smoker or other heat source as damage may not at first be apparent.

Storage: At the end of the season the cleaned garment can be hung and stored in a dry area.

We wish to point out that no responsibility can be taken by Sherriff's for any garment which has been adapted / altered in any way or had components (whether supplied by Sherriff's or not) sewn or added other than by a specially appointed B J Sherriff machinist. Wash Care for Polyester Cotton Fabric:

Wash care: Detach hood and Hand wash hood separately in hand hot water approx 30 degrees. Do not use Bleach or products containing bleach or similar. Rinse thoroughly and hang to dry. Do not Tumble dry.

Body of garment: Machine wash  at 50 degrees. Do not use Bleach or products containing bleach or similar. Rinse thoroughly and hang to dry. Do not Tumble dry.
